Board Interview


Clinical Professional Counselor applicants and Marriage and Family Therapist Applicants may be required to participate in a board interview but it is no longer automatically part of the application approval process.

    CPC Board Interview - Not Required


    An interview with the Board may be required for an applicant before licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor or a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern. All applicants for Clinical Professional Counselor Intern must have secured an Approved Primary and Secondary Supervisor and submitted the correct forms.

      MFT Board Interview


      An interview with the Board may be required for an applicant before licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, or a Marriage and Family Therapist by reciprocity. An oral examination may be required in the interview with the Board before licensure. All applicants for Marriage and Family Therapist Intern must have secured Approved Primary and Secondary Supervisors and submitted the required Supervision Forms.
