The Nevada Revised Statutes allow the Board to renew an intern license only one time for an additional 3 years. Thus, an internship may be a total of 6 years. If an intern does not request a renewal of the internship, then the internship will terminate three years from the license issue date. An internship that has been renewed will terminate six years from the license issue date.
If an intern wishes to continue their internship longer than six years, they must reapply for a new intern number.
